My extrator fan is making a high pitch squealing noise?

My extactor fan in my internal bathroom is making a high pitch squealing noise. I have cleaned it, but not oiled it could this be the cause of the problem or do I need it replaced??

Sounds like bearings and as far as I know they are sealed and cannot be oiled so you may have to change the unit.
Wait a bit as someone with same problem may come up with a less costly solution.
