This sounds likely to be a problem with the matrix in the TV itself. The matrix controls the splitting of the tv signal into the RGB colours that make up the picture. The pixels on the TV screen will be a mix of those with the matrix telling each pixel whether it should be red gren or blue. A pink tint would suggest that no green is getting through. Replacing the matrix is a job for someone who knows what they are doing when it comes to replacing components but shouldn't be too expensive to have done.
