I have a Kenmore 80 Series Washing Machine, Model No. 110.2682690, Serial No CG 1320283. When I put the wash on 2 rinses, it frequently stops at the completion of filling the tub for the second rinse. By pushing and pulling the Stop/Set knob once, it will continue to the end of the wash. Once, I banged into the machine accidentally when it stopped at the 2nd rinse, it went on. Please tell me how to fix that glitch.

it could be your lid switch
also check the screws on the lid hinge and check and make sure the lid is not pushed in
the lid switch is in the left rear part of washer under the control panel
