Any suggestions to a leaking letterbox though I suspect that somehow it is the seal surrounding the glass in the door above. Help would be appreciated, many thanks Paul

Its best to seal the outside of your letterbox flap with some silicone on installation,although many people don't bother. Its unlikely that the water leak is coming from above so I would remove the letterbox, (screws or bolts on the inside), seal it and see what happens.
