worcester 15RI lockout problems?

hi,I need help with my greenstar 15 RI which keeps going into lockout. The boiler is just outside guarantee, and has run faultlessly for two years, before breaking down over xmas.I've reset it ever since and got by,but it is getting me dowwn.I reset the thing and it will run find sometimes for 1-2 days, other times for anything up to three weeks, then no hot water or heat, and the boiler has gone into lockout, shown by the blue light being off flashing on tiwce a second..I've checked everything in the manual that I could check, but really need help to fix the thing.I suppose I could go on resetting it every time but it's a bind as the boiler is in the loft!! help

Hi,there are no thermostatic valves on any rads.the boiler is not the highest part of the system although I did vent the boiler just in case.the pump is new and working fine as is the motorize valve. we were advised to change the pcb which we did but the fault returned a few weeks later. several gas engineers have looked at it but found nothing wrong as on resetting the boiler it will fire up and run normally-they are then at a loss as to what could be wrong up and are reluctant to touch anything.the boiler then works normally untill it decides to stop again in lock out.blue light off flashing on

Try looking further than just the boiler, these are very good units,. some common causes of this behavior can be a faulty pump or an air lock if the boiler is at a high point in the house (there is a bleed point on top of the heat exchanger).
Also have you got one radiator without a thermostatic valve and an automatic bypass on the system.
Hope this helps
