I have a Goodmans Matrix 28" TV which is only 2 yrs old (and out of warranty).
Recently (within the last 2 weeks) the picture flicked (with a crackle) screen went blank for a split second then the picture came back on.

2 days ago the picture flicked off and never came back on, just a buzzing/beeping noise. It's still doing the same no picture buzzing/beep thing now everytime I turn it back on.

It can be switched on and be put on standby, but no more picture. People tell the tube has gone and it will cost too much to repair so I may as well get a new TV and bin this one.

Any ideas? Is it fixable?
