I bought the Cyberhome 300 dvd player in 2004 and in earlier June of 2005 was dead. It doesnt turn on, the light in the front panel (that indicates if the player is turned on or in standby mode) is extremely dim. It doesnt do anything. Doesnt start.

iM NOT A TECH ,BUT I HAVE FIXED SERVERAL DVD PLAYERS AND VCD PLAYERS.iF YOU CAN GET THE TRAY TO OPEN BUT THE DISK DOESNT SPIN UP,WHICH HAPPENS SECONDS AFTER YOU HAVE CLOSED THE TRAY,YOU MAY REQUIRE A REPLACEMENT DVD LENS WHICH YOU CAN ACQUIRE FROM AN ONLINE ELECTRONICS STORE ,I FOUND THIS TO BE THE CHEAPEST WAY TO FIX A DVD PLAYER THAT WONT READ DISKS ANYMORE. iT COST ME ABOUT $25 AND PROBLEM SOLVED.aLL YOU NEED TO DO IS GET THE COVER OFF AND GET THE RIGHT DETAILS OF THE SIDE OF THE LENS AND BUY A NEW ONE.tHEY ARE SIMPLE TO REPLACE.ITS ABOUT 2 SCREWS AND 1 SLIDE RAIL,YOU'LL BE ABLE TO SEE HOW ITS ATTACHED ONCE COVER IS OFF ANYWAY.
