replace waste tank in mp700?

How do I open up a canon mp700 printer? When open where can I get new waste absorbing pads i.e. the waste tank?

The waste ink pads can be washed out using some ordinary washing up detergent.Use a pair of latex gloves because the ink will stain your hands for days/weeks.Run the pads under hot water and you will be amazed at how much comes out. Dry them on a radiator for 24-36 hrs and replace them in your printer. My canon has pad made up of several pieces and responds well to this cleaning. With a canon you may have to reset the waste ink counter in the software--google it to find method for your model
