We've only had this washing machine for 3 years but all of a sudden, when we start a cycle, the on/off button starts flashing on and off and the delay timer and easy iron buttons (LED 1 and 3) flash on and off.

Can anyone tell me what this means?

I really hope this doesn't mean we need a new machine, can't afford it!

I have the same problem, but blowing down that tube did not help. I heard bubbling when I blew down it so presume it was not bloacked.

Check the pressure switch -the system that determines correct water level in the drum. Its a round item about 3 inches across with several wires connected, it sits under the top cover. Its an air operated switch which tells the machine water has reached the correct level. Disconnect the thin rubber pipe from the switch and blow down through it to clear any blockage. Switch itself may be faulty but its more likely the pipe is blocked.
