Central heating not working at all?

Boiler is working, hot water in the taps, pump is working on the boiler, thermostats and timer working okay, tried bleeding the radiators but not even getting air out, water coming out from a couple of radiators, every radiator freezing cold, radiators are gurgling, tanks in the loft have water in them, any ideas of what might be the problem would be greatly appreciated.

sounds like you have a airlock from your f&e to the boiler get a hose and stick it on the drain off vave on the bottom floor rad and turn the mains water on this should clear the fault have some in the loft to make sure the tank is,t over flowing and check for leaks.

Hello John,
Thanks a lot, I have checked everything and I can't even drain the radiators because no water at all is coming out from the bottom, water does trickle for the bleed valve though, guess it will be an expensive repair, thanks for your help.

It seems like you have a severe circulation problem - if the pump is running the boiler would quickly shut down because the heat that it is producing can't be got rid of. Are you sure the pump is ok? Could you have an air lock due to recent maintenance? It should be possible to bleed water freely from every radiator. If the water that comes out is black, you have some sludge in the system that needs to be got rid of by flushing. There is no direct connection between domestic hot water production and heating though - separate systems.
