Tevion 7270 MP4 radio probs?

Hi, how do you get the fm transmitter to work. When scrolling through the main menu it skips the the radio icon. I have the earphones plugged in.
I can't understand the manual !

Go into Music Menu, Start a Music Track playing.
Go back into Menu, you will see transmitter.
Scroll down to Frequency, press menu.
You will now see a slider.
Mine is set at 87.5MHz.
You now scroll back to 'Open' and on the main screen you will see the Frequency in the bottom right corner.
If you choose 'Close' in the Transmitter menu it will disappear from the maim screen.
Thus when you chose Open it Transmits and when you chose Close it Dosn't.
Now set your Radio on a spare Preset and Manually tune it to 87.5MHz.
Have your Headphones plugged in as they act as an Arial for better reception.
This works a treat on mine.

Hi there, there is no radio on the 7270. I thought there was when I purchased it but when I emailed the support centre they said that the transmitter allows you to play the song on another source eg. car radio

Hope this helps

There isn't a radio icon in the main menu! Start your music playing and then press the menu button once to bring up the options menu - transmitter is at the top. Select it & press menu again to bring up the transmitter sub menu, and then select 'open'. Now select exit to go back to the playing screen and the broadcast FM frequency will show in the bottom right of the display. Tune your radio in to listen. You need the earphones plugged in to act as an antenna, or else the signal will be too weak and full of interference. Remember to cl,ose the transmitter when not needed - it drains the battery quite quickly.
