Panasonic SA-HT75 No spindle motor?

I have a Panasonic SA-HT75 DVD player. The spindle motor, dose not rotate then displys no disk, I have fitted a new motor assembly and disk detection switch. Any help would be most apresiated.

I hope that you checked the laser before fitting the new motor! If the laser cannot focus the motor will not turn so if the lens is crapped up the laser won't focus and there will be no motor action
