how can I fit a codelock to a multipoint locking door?

my old timber door had a useful codelock,it has been replaced with a composite [similar to uvpc] door with multipoint deadlocks, can a codelock operate through the door to work a surface mounted night-latch, thus avoiding the door locking bars, this is to reduce the chance of 'bumping'

yes should be no prob if you keep it away from the deadlocks in your lockstrip
