How do I fix my central heating pump?

Central heating not working, pump making funny noises. Is it best to replace the pump? I can get a new pump but how do I replace it?
It is a myson compact cp53 pump with a potterton central heating system (14 years old)

my potterton gas boiler will fire up for a few minutes and cut out dead. I have recently changed the pcb. in addition the myson compact cp53 pump seams to be leaking some water. is this the problem?

all domestic pumps are the same size. grundfos 15-50's are the best ones to use, cost around £40. should be isolation valves on either side of pump, either gate type which you turn clockwise for off (do not over tighten or may stick in closed position) or 1/4 turn type (turn off same way as isolation valves to sink, wc etc.). turn 1/4 turn with screw driver so slot is across pipe as opposed to with pipe when open.follow instructions as to where to position pump head. avoid head vertical as puts pressure on seating of pump and wears out faster, also if head vertical it can trap air.check colour of water in heating system, if brown or black get it cleaned.
