opal triton shower keeps losing pressure?

As described the shower starts fine and then the low pressure light comes on the showers runs cold light goes off hot water kicks in, it does this repeatedly no matter how long you leave the shower running?

I've heard other people mention a water pressure micro switch, if it is where do you get replacements and would I be able to fix it myself?

Hi. I don't have an answer I'm afraid but I have exactly the same problem with my Triton shower - it only started recently, flicking between low pressure light (and going cold therefore) and back to high pressure. Now it seems more stuck on low pressure and less prone to switching back to high. I am looking through the web to try and find out what the cause might be, before I call a plumber.

The problems seems to have started without any obvious cause, i.e. other taps running etc and is clearly a failing of something somewhere - just don't know what!!

Amy thoughts would be gratefully received, thanks.

We did think of that but it doesnt matter what time of day we take showers early late afternnon weekends!!

first is it possible that someone is running a tap some were it sounds odd. if the pressure switch was turning the shower off i don't think it would come back on as you say. if you are on a shared main next door could be interfearing with the pressure it needs looking in to
