I have a Baxi Combi Instant 105e boiler. It has been installed in 2001. However, the fan and the flame switches on and off for no reason. A gas man hase been to assess however, is not able to find out the cause. Currently I have no heating or hot water. Could you please help.

i had a problem where the fan led was flashing. at the time the fan would'nt come on. i changed the pcb and still nothing. read some info on this site and gave the flue a clean and the venture(or whatever its called). and hey prestooooo!!! i can shower again lol

i was almost about to spend huge amounts of money on a new boiler.

Have you tried disconnecting and bypass all external controls (ie room stats etc) and see if the problem remains.

I find that lots of times it is a problem in the control side if the boiler can fire away normally.
