leaking pipe? Ferolli boiler new in 1993?

Our Ferroli boiler's pressure keeps dropping and we have been told we have a leak (not in the boiler itself) Is there any easy way to trace the leak without pulling up all the carpets or tiles?
The outside valve is dry and so are all the radiators. There are no water marks on the ceiling so we presume the problem is downstairs!

No easy way...if you are certain there are no internal leaks inside the boiler, unfortunately you'll need to inspect every pipe joint which is an unenviable task....however, if you can find a plumber who is prepared to disconnect the pipework from the boiler, he can do a pressure test on the pipework that goes around the house. At least it could save you digging floorboards up for no reason!
