ronnie, April 2008
I had this F7 flow meter failure fault, removed the left hand panel and removed connector with blue top which has two black wires connected to it which is connected on to a small PC board which I pulled out, about 50mm x 40mm, looks nothing like a flow meter. On this PC board is soldered a reed switch and after checking with magnet and a meter across the contacts found out that the reed switch did not work. I than found a burgular alarm door contact removed the reed switch which look the same as the one on the PC board, and replaced and soldered it with the knackered one on the PC board. Assembled it run the dishwater and the F7 fault had gone.

the fault is a water flow fault and i cured mine by removing the left hand side panel and there is the switch on the plasic bottle on the bottom i unluged it remember to isolate the electrics first and then uncliped it this is a reed switch operarted by a magnet in the wheeel that rotates when water is flowing you can check if the wheel rotates if not replace and you can chek if the switch swiches with a magnet and a meter across the contacts if it dosnt replace that mine was just sticking and a few taps sorted it out
