Apex AD-1225 keep say 'Bad Disk' even to disk I played in it before?

I bought the Apex in Jan or Feb 2005 at Walmart or Sears and it was playing fine until a week ago, it says Bad Disk to every dvd I put into it, even ones I watched in it before. I tried a dvd disk cleaner and it said 'Bad Disk' to that to.

I have the same 'Bad Disk' problem although I know the disks are good. If its the spindle motor, is that something that can be replaced by an individual if the part is available?

Try flipping it off for a while

or try taping on it or unplug it Apex DVD players are testy!
