when the back burner fires up you here a loud woomff then it ignites with a roaring sound .thanks

it needs serviced properly!! the burner needs stripped out and the end cap removed and gauze cleaned. get someone to do it properly as many do not. its because the gas aint coming through the burner properly near pilot so there is unburnt gas building up until it ignites hence the whoomph
