My Dualit two slice toaster trips the earth leakage detector when it is switched on.

I've removed each of the three elements and found them to be OK when checked with my electrical tester,

When operating the control knob, the electrical system again appears OK.

Can you offer a solution?

Could be a fault with the wires, timer or selector switch. Try replacing the timer first.
