I need to disable the Safety Switch in the lid of my F&P Washer to enable loading clothes whilst it's filling with water. The machine won't fill with the lid open. I've looked around under the top cowling where the lid fits, but can't see any button similar to the one I found on my old washer (not F&P)

you don't as it stop the spin cycle for your safety if you open lid when it spins.It has hidden proximity switch controlled by a magnet in lid.
