Pilot light out on potterton 24 boiler?

the pilot light has gone out on my potterton 24 boiler and i can't figure out how to get it back on. Any suggestions greatly appreciated.

I can hear the fan clicking on and then nothing. There is no ignition clicking in by the sounds of it. I am getting really desperate now. Have checked all the wires are secure, the gas is getting in, the pressure is at the correct level and the fuse is ok. Not sure what else to check.

it does not have a pilot light. it lights up on demand. tell us whats happening. if you turn a tap on can you hear the fan run, can you hear the ignition sparking etc??

tell us what it can manage and we may be able to narrow down fault
