what kind of roof designs can I do/?

We are building a 16x10' potting shed and are wanting to do a peaked roof. What kind of roof designs are there? Do you have schematics?

i agree with bob on this but make sure that the walls of your shed are man enough to support the weight. you should bear in mind that if you want your shed roof to last a life time structurally, you should ensure that it has the correct loadings applied to the calculations for trusses, etc. go to local good quality timber yard, they should be able to do all this design work for you....

Look at the sheds on www.sheds.co.uk.
Sheds usually have the same pitch, be they a pitch or pent style roof [semi flat] Check out construction at your nearest shed supplier.
Some put wood or felt shingles on the roof on top of the first 2ply plain layer of felt to give tiled effect.
What ever roof covering used start from the bottom and overlap second sheet 3" [75mm] min over first layer,so on till you reach the top strip. Felt shingles follow instructions that came with them.
