Hi there, like many others i have the same problem of my monitor (proview ma-982kc) going blank but the power light remaining on green. on what others have experienced and said, i replaced x6 470uf capacitors and x1 220uf capacitor. only the 220 appeared to 'bulge'. unfortunately, after replacing the 7 capacitors, the problem remains, so it appears i had no problem with the capacitors. has any one any other suggestions to how to fix or what is causing the problem? cheers in advance, gordon

I too have this monitor, I have changed the capacitors in the power supply and for a time the screen came back on although it is almost impossible to read or see as it tears badly as if it has ac coming through on to a dc line, for a time you can leave it on like this but after about six minutes it disappears off screen, the monitor cable measures ok ?????????????

I have the same problem, switch it off and then on, it comes on briefly. I replaced it with a new monitor and left it alone for some months. Out of curiosity I connected it back up and it worked. I left it running for 3 days and it worked perfectly, until I wiggled the monitor cable, now I have the problem back again. I am now trying to source a new monitor cable, as I suspect this is the problem.
