how can I fix the hinge on my upvc window?

At the top of my upvc window part of the hinge has snapped off on the opener how do I mend it?

I don't want to sound patronising here Hilary, but find out who actually made your windows if you can, ring them and ask for a replacement hinge, which should simply screw on. I'm only saying this because there are at least a dozen different designs.
