hotpoint aquarius wd420 - flashing on /off + High Heat + reduce crease?

My 15 mth old machine has been working fine - went to use it today and the High Heat, reduce crease and on/off lights are all flashing - the On/off light is flashing twice as quickly as the others. Any ideas as to what is wrong?
