lost pin code for a matsui tvr185?

i have lost my pin code to my matsui tvr185 and now im unable to use my tv because of the problem can i reset it and start with a new number ?

Locked, displays `this video belongs to` - lost pin number
Switch set on, when the message appears press volume down on set and number 7 on the Matsui handset together and hold for at least 5 seconds to unlock the TV.

i have the same problem. lost the remote control and got a universal one but it wont operate it. Any ideas? Regards Becky
