Baxi bahama 100- is it knackered or shall i call baxi????

Hiya my boiler wont spark up its indicating no flame, i have tried everything, the presure valve wasnt shut properly and pressure went really high i bled all rads it went back down but since then this has been happening everything else seems to be working i can hear the fan come on. but no pilot light. it did leak a bit of water when pressure was high. we had a plumber round and he said its knackered but i think hes trying to con me into new boiler do u think its knackered or is it worth me phoning baxi??

there is also an ignition box on the gas valve that causes this-u are unable to repair this so it needs replaced

Doubt its anything to do with the water pressure. Check the case seal is complete and not broken or damaged. If the seal is ok, you are lookin at an air pressure switch (providing the fan is running as you say) which will cost you £30 max. Common problems on this boiler. Needs correct pressure in combustion chamber to activate ignition.
