how can I remove an air lock from my cold water tap?

My family bathroom's cold tap has pipe judder when the tap is in the "just open" position (I live in a bungalow)....please help

That may well be the case John, but I have this problem with taps that were installed just last week.

I don't think this will be an airlock Paul if there is adequate water flowing when the tap is fully open....more likely the tap simply needs its washer replacing as its bouncing - they do become hard and brittle with age.
