hotpoint fitrst edition wma10 washing machine?

it's making a noise like the programme is stuck when the machine goes onto spin cycle, the washing machine is finishing the programme selected with no problems there is just this noise.

The drum bearing is k*******d. Hotpoint charge £96 to come out, plus parts & labour. It took us over an hour to get to the bearings, then you'd need a press punch to remove them so it's not an on site job.
New bearing cost £26 or you can get a complete half drum for £78
