I have painted interior of our house a light yellow - but with the lights on, it becomes a neon yellow. I have tried different types of light but it did not make a difference. How can I correct this problem and go even pale without it costing too much??

have you tried using coloured bulbs like blue or red? you can get glass paint to do the job.
