my wife went to open the door of the whirlpool front loading duet washer and water went all over the floor this is the first time the water went on the floor. but in the past the water has just sit in the tub. we ran a spin cycle to drain the water out but when we got back to check it water was in the bottom of the tub again.

This just happened to us.............

We ended up getting a new pump for the washer. It cost us $120 for the pump assembly, when all we needed was the little pump.

BUT----

it did work just fine after replacing it. Thank goodness my hubby is a journeyman machine repairman and saved us lots on the labor !
