potterton performer 28 leaks water?

when heating is switched on, the boiler seems to leak cold water from around the open 15mm pipe, under the assembly and behind the lower control panel.
seems ok when just running hot water only, if this has anything to do with pressure settings then I would be gratful for any info on how to fix this fault.
this is a potterton performer 28, fitted about five years ago.
many thanks.

Dont bother the potterton performa 28 all leak from the pin coming in and out behind the panel when they divert, be grateful you dont have granite work tops they stain the surface, its just a bad design I have been asked numerous times about this model, they leak from day one, just learn to live with it.

what does the sytem pressure read
a) when system is cold?
b) when system (ch) is hot?

maybe your expansion vessel may need charging
