can i use a sky dish on free view?

Can i use my sky dish to receive satellite free view, if i can does it have to be realigned

you can use your sky dish , for your free to air , ( freeview) satellite box but you will have to rescann it to make sure that your getting all of the channells, the sky dish is reciveing its pictures from the astra 2d, satellite, that is at 28.2 deg , and the freeview, is useing the same satellite the aster 2d . so you dont have to move it, just plug it in and rescann it ,there are other satellites up there that you can tune into if you want , but you wil have to move the dish a little , the hotbird 13 deg east , ect, lots of them up there , but stick with the one your on ,
