my ds has a broken hinge. its nothing serious but my thinks he knows how to fix it. he is going to drill a hole through it(that might not make sense)and glue a wire through it. is that

i dont really know the model but oh well they should be the same.
trust me ,don't drill a hole.this is what i done ,i got a strong thine peice of wire and tied it back into place (by the way ,that only works with the origional ds not the lite)
