even though the door is shut the door lock light keeps flashing and it wont start

this one could be a combination of three things but most likely is that it needs a new door interlock assembly which is quite cheap. if you are really unlucky then theres a chance it could be the main pcb which is going to be quite expensive. if you shut the door press start then bang it and it goes ok then get the door interlock
