Can I replace the battery?

I have recently paid for a second-hand 1GB IPocket MP3 player but seem to have a problem with the battery lasting no longer then about 4 hours.
How do I go about Changing the battery or do I need to send it somwhere?

I don't know what type of MP3 player that is, but if it's an IPOD, you can go to http://www.ipodjuice.com/ It's a very good site that sells kits and batteries that let you replace the battery yourself. The batteries at this site have a ten year warranty.
