I have a Kenmore Heavy Duty 70 Series model 110-82873820. The tub has filled; however, it will not spin or drain. The timer is still moving, but nothing else.

Hello,
It sounds like you have a bad water supply valve. Sediment inside the valve will keep it from closing all the way and therefore cause a dripping even when the power to the washer is off. I bet it's the cold water side?
