water is still in drum after wash has finished and it sells very staggant if mashine isnt used for a few days

strip and clean out filter trap,(REGULARLY) strip down and clean/inspect pump check the operation of pump, There MUST NOT be any obstruction in the pipe that leads from the bottom of the outer drum ,then on to the pump, and lastly to the stand pipe.

check sink u bend if connected to this as it has a stupid little hole that the water CAN'T go through quick enough
