I got either rockmelon juice or water in mine and I don't know what to do... I tried putting the battery in rice (to absorb the water) and using a hair blow dryer but so far no results... any other ideas? For some reason when I turn it on the green light goes on but then the screen flashes on and it just turns off... help???

when my ds got water in after about 3-4 months it worked then it blew out again

you could clean it out with some cotton swabs and
then do some hair blow drying on it. I just got a free nin. DS lite for free then when i found out my friend actully put it in water, i did all that

I was told my ds was beyond repair so i left it in a drawer........4months later(after several previous attempts)i turned it on and it worked perfectly!!!!

Disassemble it and dry everything with hair dryer. Make sure everything is completely dry. The most tough areas are under the chips, especially BGA. Check the PCB for corrosion. Also check battery voltage. If everything is dry and seems to be OK, try it again.
