under 2 yrs old our dishwasher keeps coming up with no2 button flashing (wash) and no4 button flashing (drying) the water comes in and after about 10 seconds it starts to gurgle its getting hot but its not washing properly. The manual states a troubleshooting guide only for no2 button (wash) flashing only.

Hello. I've had the same trouble. I phoned hotpoint and they said it's something to do with the heating element and requires an engineer to mend it. They said I could pay a one-off fee of £115.00 to fix it or I could pay £15.90 for 10 months and that would include fixing the problem including parts, an extended guarantee on the dishwasher of 1 year and if it goes wrong again at any time in that year and they can't mend it, they would replace it with a new machine.
