How do I wire a switch for a light?

In my garage I have a 2 gang switch.
Presently only 1 switch is used to control 1 light.
I want to use the other switch to control an additional light, i.e I will end up with 2 separate ligths controlled separately by the 2 switches.

The cable to the switch is :-
BlLUE to A 1 Way
RED to B Com
YELLOW to B 1 Way
Additionally there is a RED loop cable from B Com to A Com.

Hi there,

Sorry,

You cant wire a new light from a light switch due to the lack of a neutral at the switch.

so,

You will have to wire it from the old light fitting with a mains in twin (live and neutral) to the new fitting and a switch wire in twin (switch and switch return) down to the switch.

good luck
