How do I finalise dvd-r now my dvd player no longer works? I have installed Roxia Media Creator 10 Suite as recommended by many people on this site on my lap top but although the program seems to work it will not recognise any unfinalised dvds I insert so I don't understand how I am meant to finalise them.
The dvd player was a JVC DVD video recorder, model no: DR-MH205EK.

You need to find someone with a similar model, who would be willing to finalise them for you.
Each manufacturer probably uses a different finalising software, it might be the same for other models.
