There's no power into the plug socket at my combi boiler (electric)?

There's electricity at the red wire (live wire?) in the consumer box but not at the other end of the wire where it meets the on/off switch for the combi boiler.

The red light at the switch used to work and the water used to heat but not since the red light went off and no power is reaching it.

I would have though that a central heating unit would be hard wired via a Fused Outlet - rather than a pug and socket. Second power to the boiler is usually supplied via the Programmer.

Fused Outlets have a cartridge fuse. Check that. Then check the programmer.
