Hello, when I switch my boiler to water only the heating comes on aswell? Can you tell me what the problem is? and how to rectify it?

you need to give a bit more info, i.e the boiler model, and do you have a programmer etc.

You need a new 'diverter valve', which controls this very phenomenon......what happens is that the heating water is temporarily switched off when the hot taps are on, so the boiler heats up the domestic water. The valve then diverts back to domestic water alone. Contact a heating engineer who can fit one for you?
