can you use a satellite box without subscribing to sky i have the dish but no box.Can anyone help please?

Yes there are three ways.

Buy a Free To View receiver. This will get BBC and ITV but not Ch4 or Ch5 plus a load of other rubbish.

Buy an old Sky box with an expired Viewing Card. This will get BBC, ITV, Ch4, CH5 and some other stuff.

However best of all is a Freesat receiver. Fifty quid from Currys or Comet. Or £120 for an HD receiver. Be careful some sales staff are telling people that they won't work with a Sky dish which rubbish - they will. More information on www.freesat.co.uk/
