Valiant Combi Boiler tripping electrics?

I have a valiant combi boiler that is tripping the consumer unit every time hot water is called for. Can Anyone advise as to why this might be, my sister in law is due to have a look at it but she lives in another city so it will be a while till she can, thanks.

why would it be a fan issue if it's only a problem on dhw and not on ch? (fan is used on both!)

sounds like it may be the diverter, make sure all contacts are dry and not corroded.......use a mutlimeter to check resistance/continuity across all boiler components......

and lastly, never let a woman do a mans job....
