How can i fix my widescreen sanyo tv?

My tv which i bought second hand last week has a green tint to it on any kind of format-dvd, video or normal tv channels. i have tried different scart leads, phono leads etc but nothing works. Can anyone help? the tint gets worse on particularly dark films or credits after films for example.

Could be a faulty cathode ray tube (ie. bit you watch), especially if it very green when switched on and improves slighly over the first 10 mins of use.

It may be possible to re-balance the colour but it sounds a bit ominous. I think I would mention it asap to whoever your purchased it off.

NB. Cathode ray tubes are very expensive.
