Try the X-Clamp method, I did this and it worked but needed a little bit of persistence, type in "X-box 3 red lights fix" into google or youtube, they give gr8 detail on how to do it good luck

If your console is under warranty and you have never opened your console it is probably best to send it to Microsoft for repair (0800 587 1102). This takes place in Germany so be patient, usually takes about 6-8 weeks. If you have opened your console or it is no longer under warranty, check out Ebay for DIY kits or users repairing consoles for about £20-£40
